It was the time to make a choice. When Ian was gone and she was about to leave Vegas, because she was simply tired to be between two states, and all this complications of having two homes. The mortgage company didn't want to work out to low the payments, but to be negative every month with a property rental didn't make sense any longer, because she founded herself as musician again, and wanted to invest her time and money in to her music.
It is strange, but the fact is - she started to write her first song dedicated to her love when he got badly sick with melanoma, and finished that composition the year later when he was gone from a physical world.
She had a long break from music since, she came to US, and now she was back to something she always loved, because you believe or not, the spirit of her love was leading her to this. She saw him coming into her dreams and meeting people, and later on it was almost the same event was happened in a real life. She was trying to avoid contact to music, but all signs said, she should go back to were she belongs to.
This strange house in Vegas was bringing her back in to the past.
... Thinking, that her relationship with her lover is over after 7 years, Vikki stopped any communications with Ian. After New Years Eve of 2004 they spent together, things started to come together, their love was in the top, because she was getting divorce with her husband, and Ian was kidding about their future marriage, and that Viki will divorce him next day, because will not be able to handle him.
Closer to 2005 things started to change quick in a strange direction.
It seemed that Ian begun to avoid dates, and he told Viki in one of the conversations on the phone, that he doesn't feel like to go out, and just want to stay home. Any women in the world will take it personally.
.... About the year went by and Viki and Ian met in Backstage Cafe for a Valentine's Day. She decided do not spent too much time with Ian, because everything it seemed to be over between them a time ago, and she had a meeting with a couple of her friends, which she didn't see for a long time.
They have been holding their arms, and didn't want to let it go like sometimes before. Ian offered a dinner, but Viki refused, and just had a couple of drinks instead. His eyes were sad and he said he will go home after she leave. He also said he doesn't feel good.
Ian wasn't the one who ever complained about how he feels or anything else and Viki just hold him and said to go home and relax. He was upset, and she could read it.
It was a difficult moment when it was the time for her to leave... He gave her a kiss in the lips, like always before, a warm hug, and as lovers say:
-I love you... She hold him tight and said - I love you too. Happy Valentine's day. He always was responsive, and a caring man and leaving him always was like taking a piece from the heart.
She left, but she knew, that she will come back for her forever love.
