The lady was playing with artist's pasport while going to the custom and the passport control, she was nervous and continued keep on looking on the page where the photo and id information were placed. The page was almost ripped off, or to be more correct the glue from endless rains melt down, and the page was falling off.
- Do not play with my passport please, do not open and close it all the time - the artist was thinking.
They were getting closer to the passport control, and practically avoided the long line of tourists, but these minutes seemed to be endless.
Behind the custom was almost her escape from Thailand.
They got closer to the guy who was checking people out of the country, and the young lady started to explain in Thai language the situation. Guy's eyes got big and he clicked something on the computer, checked the passport and showed with his head Go.
Artist was trying to stay calm, but inside of her mind was - RUN!
She pass the gate and didn't want to turn her head to the direction she just came from.
As fast as possible she wanted to be lost in the crowed and to find her first flight.
Even it was some time before take off, she felt some kind of relieve. Finding the gate of her plane departure she sit down and didn't want to move. One lady, who was going to take the same flight started to talk to artist and shared her thought about Thailand. She wasn't impressed about the country and now wanted to see China. She was from England.
Artist didn't have an active phone and was asking that lady if she could send text message to her friends in the US about her arrival time. Lady did. To all of that in last minute, after the call for the flight, artist discovered that there were some computers with free internet in the waiting area.
She had a few more minutes to send emails.
Artist stepped into the plane.
She still couldn't believe that she made it so far, and will be on her way home in a few minutes.
